Huck Finn Does the Most

Dear God, how much can a boy do? Huck Finn is the wildest person I know of, not including drag goddess Valentina. Huck Finn does A LOT of crazy things; he even fakes his own death! I personally really like Huck, though. Huck is caring in his own ways, but is careful to believe other people’s stories and ideas; a true queen! Though skeptical, Huck realizes that he doesn’t need to rely on what anyone else believes, such as Tom with his fake stories and lies; one being about how their “gang” was all about “Nothing only robbery and murder.” (Twain, 18) yeah, right. Huck comes from a very dark past, but manages to find himself and what he believes to be right through his adventures and the help of his friend, Jim. Though he wavered back and forth, trying to decide whether to turn in Jim for running away, Huck turns against his societal norms and does what he thinks is correct and stays true to his friend. Although, this proves to be hard for him to do, as thinking about how he helped Jim run away from his master got Huck feeling so “...mean and miserable [Huck] almost wished [he] was dead.” (Twain, 99). Huck may still need a little work, but he proves himself to be a queen with some good, strong values!
